Originally quite basic charge points were all that was available but now as Electric Vehicles become the mainstream, consumer expectations and competition in the market have raised the bar for domestic and commercial charge points. Added to this, new regulations were brought in in 2022, The Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021 have driven the development of smart technology in EV chargers to give better information, efficiency, safety and control to the user and advance the national move away from internal combustion engines.
