MD1 Mudguard

Madison, the UK’s leading distributor of cycle parts and accessories wanted an own brand, small one size fits all, front mudguard to compete in a competitive market of similar products. The brief was to come up with a design that was dynamic looking, functionally effective and economic to produce. Using 2K, twin shot moulding techniques we were able to develop a design that gave multiple colour options and a modern look for style conscious consumers.

In addition to providing the design and engineering services for this project we were also able to source and procure the injection mould tooling for Madison through our network of Far East suppliers. We then placed the tooling with a UK moulding partner that could provide Madison with the required volumes of stock.
