The Limpet L5 is the Swiss army knife of height safety, providing fully integrated climb assist, fall prevention, personnel & load lifting, rescue and evacuation capabilities. We were commissioned after a comprehensive selection process to design the enclosure for Limpet Technologies unique product. The brief was to develop a purposeful looking plastic enclosure that could perform in the most demanding of environments whist providing the functionality and ergonomic requirements.

The design we provided was used across the whole Limpet Technology range of products. L2, L5, E5 and M5. Used in challenging conditions from wind turbines to off shore oil rigs the world over, the design created provides an easily recognisable aesthetic.

On this project we provided Concept generation, Design Engineering, Prototyping and Manufacturing services. Culminating the supply of a large injection mould tooling suite to Limpet for the manufacture of all the plastic components.
